I was really looking forward to exploring the Archaeological Park of Xanten, so I chose to stay at Nibelungen Hof. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the modern and family-run atmosphere of the hotel. It has a strong focus on service and comfort, which I really appreciated. The option to book half-board accommodation and enjoy delicious meals at the on-site restaurant was a great perk.

The continental breakfast was delicious and the attached Italian restaurant served a very enjoyable dinner. Our room was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep.
